Christmas Party :Part 2 Food


Trifle Recipe:
1 box Chocolate Devils Food cake
1 large box of chocolate pudding
1  cool whip
Chocolate candy topping

Layer Cake, pudding and cool whip. 
Add any kind of chocolate candy in between and on top! 
I choose Reeses which are always a favorite!





Chocolate Mint Blossoms Recipe:

1/2 C butter-softened
1/2 C shortening
1 C sugar
3/4 C unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tsp baking powder
1 egg
2 tablespoons milk
1 tsp peppermint extract
1 1/2 C all purpose flour
Hershey candy cane kisses


1. Preheat Oven to 350 degrees
2. In large bowl combine: butter and shortening, beat with electric mixer for 30 seconds
3. Add sugar,cocoa powder and baking powder
4. beat in egg,milk,peppermint extract
5. Beat in as much flour as you possibly can with mixer
6. Cover dough and chill for 1 hour or until firm and easy to work with
7. Form 1 inch balls and bake for 10 - 12 min
8. place candy in center as soon as you take out of oven
