NYC and applepicking
Weekend at home happenings:
Saturday night my best friend and I ventured into the city for a fun night out with some friends. Meatpacking district and lower east side is where its at on the weekends. Luckily for us the weather was absolutely gorgeous which allowed for a dress ( which I had to buy since I have zero clothes at home and only packed for the winter) and a rooftop hang out session complete with fireworks on the river. Thank you NYC. You are awesome.
On another note, it is most inconvenient to pack for cold weather only to discover the temperature has changed and will be in the upper 70's to 80's. So I was that girl in white shorts and cowboy boots at the apple orchard. My personal motto is
"Wear it like you mean it" and its all good.
As much as I love the warm weather I'm ready to bust out the new fall clothes! How about you?
How fun! Looks like a gorgeous dress :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun time! I've never been to NYC, but the picture I have in my mind is exactly the night you described! LOVE your dress by the way!

Heheh I am exactly the opposite to you. It's heading into spring here in NZ! :)
ReplyDeleteI want to make a trip to NYC soon!! And, I love fall weather and am excited for it to get just a little cooler... I dislike it when the weather gets below 40 degrees, but 50 and 60s would be great... I want to wear my scarves.. definitely a fall favorite
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, your outing sounds so much fun! And your dress is TOO cute!!!
ReplyDeleteYes, yes, yes!! I'm so extremely ready for fall. WHERE IS IT??!
