Peter Pan had it about right. But that wouldn't be very adult of me to say that I don't want to grow up. That sometimes I wish never never land really existed. A place where you could stay young and carefree forever. Lets face it, once you're an adult, you don't get a break from it. Don't get me wrong there are awesome things about being an adult.
I guess you could say I'm struggling with accepting the fact that in 15.5 short weeks I will officially be a college grad. Out in the real world. Frankly, I'm just not ready to accept this fact. I will eventually. On graduation day when I have no choice but to grow up. I need to remind myself that growing up is exciting. That life is going to soon be in full swing and exciting things lay ahead. But in the midst of a busy,exhausting day I let my mind wander. And sometimes it wanders to never never land.

ReplyDeleteGirl, in 15.5 weeks your life is about to begin!! You have a fabulous internship and guess what!? You'll have no more homework ;) Yes, you'll have to work BUT when the work day is over, generally you leave work at work.
Designate your weekends to being a kid, that's what I do and it's awesome :)

Honestly, life will just get better and better and better. In college, I thought it was the greatest time of my life, but faaar greater things were in store after. I'm excited for you to get out there and see what comes next! (:
