Where my heart longs to be.

My heart longs to be at Wind River Ranch in Colorado.

I spent four summers working there.

Making life long friends.

Learning about myself, life and my faith.

Talking to God in the middle of  one of his most beautiful creations.

Unplugged from technology.

I spent countless nights watching the most incredible sunsets I have ever laid eyes on.

I saw more stars in those few months than my whole life living in NJ.

No to mention the magical countless shooting stars.

I spent nights staying up with my very best girlfriends talking about life.

I learned what hard work is.

What it means to be selfless and to serve.

What its like to have strangers become family.

The ranch is truly a glimpse of what heaven will be like.

I am the happiest when I'm at the ranch.

In nature,communing with God. 

Listening,learning and growing.

The ranch is where I long to be and yet for this time I have to be elsewhere.

But the ranch will always be on my mind, in my thoughts and daydreams.

the only place I have seen that color purple in the sky

the crystal blue sky with the most perfect rocky mountains

the hammock is my favorite place to do my resting and thinking
