The Road Less Traveled

{Maybe}

The Word maybe is a tricky little thing. It's not a complete answer and it doesn't mean yes or no, just perhaps. It could be based upon things that are subject to change. Maybe seems conditional to me. I don't like conditional. Somethings are better when they are unconditional. Like unconditional love,unconditional friends,unconditional faith and unconditional surrender. This year is filled with some Maybes for me. Maybe your day,week,month or year
is filled with Maybes too.

{ Maybe I will go to California in March}
{ Maybe I' will get a summer internship}
{Maybe I will find love Love will find me}

This poem came to my mind. It was from high school english class(I guess paying attention came in handy).This poem reminds me of how we always have two choices and how both can lead you in different directions...

Robert Frost- The Road Not Taken
Two Roads diverged in a yellow wood
And sorry I could not travel both,
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear,
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh,I marked the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence,
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
Took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference

And a song thats quite appropriate for this ocassion..

  2. Okay, I want to start by saying I'm so proud of you for saying maybe love will find you! You're definitely in the right mind set. I always went looking for love and when I finally stopped, it, I mean, he found me. You're well on your way darlin'. And that is one of my most favorite poems.
    Have an amazing weekend!

  7. I studied Robert Frost in high school too! Such a great poem. I dislike the word "maybe" soooo much. I think {well, actually I KNOW} it's because I am SUCH an impatient person. YET, my life post college is made up of maybes. ugggh!

    ANYWAYS! Good luck to you this year; can't wait to read about your journeys :)

    And, I LOVE this song. Ingrid is a long time fave of mine. xx
