My mom has always made a fuss about me taking forever to get ready, even when we aren't going out anywhere important. She always says "Emily you aren't going to a fashion show" and I always say "you never know ". I believe that 50% of your mood comes from how to perceive yourself. If I'm dressed like a mess then I feel like a mess. What's my point? It doesn't matter if you re going to the grocery store or NYC you should dress in a way that makes you radiate confidence and brings out your inner fashionista. Don't dress up for other peoples sake, dress up for your own sake. So the next time someone asks why you are taking so long to get ready, simply reply with "Life is a fashion show and the world is my runway."
